HARARE City believe they need consistency ahead of the visit by Triangle for a league match at Rufaro tomorrow. The two teams clashed in the Chibuku Super Cup at the weekend and the Sunshine Boys hammered their opponents 5-0.

Yesterday, Harare City assistant coach Mkhupali Masuku said they were looking to get all points against Kelvin Kaindu’s men who appear to have lost their way after a bright start.

“We have prepared it in a different way because there are three points that are at stake. We lost the reverse game 3-1 against the same opponents in a league match and won 5-0 against the same opponents in a Cup game,” said Masuku.

“So, we really feel we need to have the bragging rights on Saturday and we would be leading them 2-1 (in head-to-head matches) this season.

“I think it would be a bonus for us to win on Saturday, we would be on par in terms of points and they would just above us in terms of goal difference.

“There were so many grey areas in that match (the Cup game), it is not all about the scoreline. If you look at Triangle, they are a very good side, and you cannot take away anything from them.

“They have very good coaches and it is just that on Saturday they had their lapses and we pounced on that.

“But we have to play as a unit for us to conquer.”

Harare City welcome Munyaradzi Diro Nyenye and Tatenda Munditi who were away in Congo Brazzaville with the national team.

The team also dedicated this match to the deputy mayor Thomas Muzuva who passed away on Wednesday.
