Gokwe Central backs Matemadanda Cde Matemadanda

Districts in Gokwe Central have welcomed Zanu-PF Secretary for War Veterans Cde Victor Matemadanda’s decision to contest in primary elections slated for Sunday. The constituency has about 17 districts. Cde Davison Masvisvi of Central B District, said Cde Matemadanda was welcome as he is played an important role in the e new political dispensation.

“He has played an important role in the coming of the new dispensation,” he said.
“I believe having him contesting in the primary election is a blessing because such people bring development in the constituency.”

Cde Kudzanai Mpofu of Semwa District said because Cde Matemadanda was contesting for the Gokwe Central seat, the constituency will now attract national interest.
“We have been looked down upon as none of our members were in the Politburo, but now we have a Politburo member,” he said.

“Having such people in the constituency is good for Gokwe.”
For Cde Mike Gwasa of Central A, Cde Matemadanda has in a short space of time managed to do a lot for the people of Gokwe.
“He has already saved the people in Forest Area from eviction,” he said.

“As a district, we are proud of him. He has played a fatherly role here in Gokwe. We have never had someone who is in the Politiburo.”

Chief Njelele said Cde Matemadanda had been preaching President Mnangagwa’s message of peace.
“Cde Matemadanda has been doing well for this constituency and my subjects are happy,” he said.

“He has managed to preach the words by His Excellency Cde Mnangagwa to have peace in Gokwe and Zimbabwe as a whole.”
Cde Matemadanda said he was simply delivering President Mnangagwa and the new dispensation’s vision.

“Our people have been neglected by the people of the G40 cabal who were only concerned about their self-enrichment,” he said.
“Now, we are good to go and our President has told us that we want our people to be looked after; we want development in our respective areas.

“We will do that and encourage our people to understand that President Mnangagwa is the man.”
