GABRIELLE AND DWAYNEThey just can’t stop partying. Loved-up celebrity couple Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade are still celebrating their December engagement. On Saturday evening, the betrothed hosted a late-night bash for family and friends at Pearl at Nikki Beach in Miami, with the blushing bride-to-be sharing the happy event with fans in a series of Instagram snaps that began with the caption: ‘‘About last night . . .’’

The 41-year-old actress and her Miami Heat basketball star beau ,who have yet to set a wedding date turned up to the party at around 12.30am, after attending a local event, according to E! News.

Earlier in the evening, the 32-year-old accompanied his fiancée to the Reid & Fiorentino Call Of The Game dinner, which Gabrielle hosted, at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida.

The gala honoured the work of people who make a difference in the community, with honourees including two of Dwyane’s team mates: LeBron James and James Jones.

The Being Mary Jane star looked chic in an elegant long white Sara Roka smoke print gown teamed with a black wrap blouse.

The perfectly made-up actress, who couldn’t stop smiling at her hunky athlete, accessorised with a statement necklace of black stones and beads by EK Thongprasert.

Dwyane donned a classic grey Ferragamo suit with a white shirt and grey silk tie decorated with small white spots, completing his ensemble with white buck shoes with a brown leather insert that matched his tan belt.

The couple didn’t have time to change before hitting their own party, which E! reports had a white theme.

A party-goer who talked to the website said: ‘‘They seemed really in love. He had his hand on her side all night. The party felt very intimate. They spent a lot of time talking to family members.’’

Aside from family and friends, celebrity guests included Destiny’s Child pop star Kelly Rowland and actors Jamie Foxx and Kevin Hart.

Guests were treated to cake, champagne and Grey Goose vodka cocktails, according to the insider.

After the party wrapped at around 3am, Gabrielle posted montage shots of the event starting with one of the couple laughing as they walked past beer kegs on their way to Pearl, with her doting fiancé holding up the front of her skirt to ensure she didn’t trip on the long hem.

She captioned it: ‘‘About last night . . . #pearlchampagnelounge.’’

A trio of snaps taken of the couple at the earlier event was captioned: ‘‘The night started with a great cause . . . #CallOfTheGameDinner #LaurensKids #DadeSchools.’’

A double image showed Gabby with pals Chantal Bastion and Daunie Dawn Cummings above another picture of her yawning alongside her mum and dad, Theresa and Sylvester Union, who were texting away on their cell phones.

The tongue-in-cheek explanation read: ‘‘#While me @telltell heart @dauniedaune were busy havin fun . . . Those youngins were very busy chile on their phones #settinuplatenightmoveswithoutthekids (sic).’’

And in another montage that again included her parents, Gabrielle wrote that her father was having quite the good time: ‘‘You know it’s a good time when Pops is turnt is the club… #pearlchampagnelounge #ohmyleg #noYOUtellmydadhesbeencutofffrombottleservice.’’

The happy couple seem to have got over Dwyane’s admission that he fathered a son outside of the couple’s relationship, after news broke before Christmas at about the same time they got engaged.

‘‘I had a time, a part in our break, in our pain and our hurt, a blessing came out of it in my life, having a son that was born healthy,’’ the athlete told reporters at the time. ‘‘So I’m moving on.’’

Taking to Instagram recently, the pro athlete posted a striking photo of his lady love as he gushed about how much he loved her while admitting to his past mistakes.

‘‘My #WCW my #beautifulblackqueen . . . My life mistakes gave me you and my life mistakes almost made me lose you. But your love has conquered all and I hope to spend the rest of my life with you   . . .’’ — Daily Mail.
