A flamboyant housing project,  Alloa Brooke, is set for construction in Rusape on a 90 hectare piece of land.

The development is being undertaken by the Kadengu family while Terezim Fortress Properties is the agent selling the low density stands.

Project co-ordinator Rosa Kadengu told The Herald Property Guide that pegging of the stands was underway and should be completed  soon.

“Just before Crocodile
Hotel on the way from Harare arose an opportunity to build a modern residence, spreading from  Rusape River towards the toll gate.

“It is an ideal space to display beautifully built homes to highway passers-by,  leaving a lasting impression on the architectural taste of the people of Manicaland.

“Pegging of the stands is
currently ongoing and we expect the developers to start working on road to tar level and other
civil works once the pegging
is complete,” said Mrs
Kadengu.

“Those building holiday homes must follow four-star standards. Eight stands are earmarked for time-share homes and lodges. Houses will be built to a maximum of three storeys and plans must be approved by the Rusape Town council,” Mrs Kadengu said in an interview.

Construction starts once  70 percent of purchase price has been paid.

The housing project is ideal for professionals, business people, politicians, academics and diasporans from areas like Rusape, Nyanga , Odzi as well as areas between Marondera and Rusape wishing to build modern houses and stay closer to other professionals.

There will be a state of the art shopping mall along Harare Rusape highway, accident emergency rooms, food courts, and an international school.

Mrs Kadengu said the area was private land, parent deed and the sub-division permit are open for inspection at their offices.

Title deeds will be available after payment of full purchase price and full compliance of terms and conditions of the subdivision permit.
