DYNAMOS have received the endorsement of their fans after unveiling the kit the club will be using for the next three years.

It’s part of a deal signed with a UK-based company, On The Ball Looks.

The Glamour Boys set social media alight as fans from a cross-section of the domestic football landscape all endorsed the kit which is part of a US$300 000 deal.

The partnership will see the England-based sportswear manufacturer supplying DeMbare with playing kits, training kits, travelling gear, club replicas and merchandise.

“I think the light blue warm-up kit looks exquisite,” said staunch DeMbare fan, Elvis Benhura.

“Dynamos is doing very well and I would like to congratulate our leadership for this breakthrough.

“For Dynamos, this is a big milestone because, for a long time, we have not had our own technical partner to deal with kit and replicas.

“We just hope the club will also benefit in a big way from this deal. As fans, we should play our part by buying the original things.

“So, we hope the pricing will not shut out anyone.’’

DeMbare yesterday paraded a consignment of playing kit, warm-up kit, gym kit, golf shirts and tracksuits.

The playing kit features the traditional royal blue strip for their home matches and a white strip for the away games.

There is also a light blue colour that has been earmarked as the alternative kit.

The replicas are expected in the country in the next three months.

Another DeMbare fan, Molly Banda, pleaded with the management to look into the pricing of the regalia.

“We are waiting for the replicas. As DeMbare fans, we are prepared to part with our hard-earned cash to support the club, but the main issue is about affordability.

“I am sure the leadership will strike a good balance because quality is also of paramount importance,” said Banda.

Agrippa Shumba, who is based in South Africa, said the club must make the products available online for their fans dotted across the globe.

“For me, it’s a good deal that I believe will bring back the professionalism into the DeMbare camp.

“And, the fact that the deal comes with replica jerseys is good news, we are tired of wearing Chelsea jerseys at DeMbare matches.

“The price must be affordable, this will bring the much-needed revenue during this pandemic.

“This replica deal must be well managed, it’s good business for the team,” said Shumba.

DeMbare cheerleader Chris “Romario” Musekiwa welcomed the deal.

“We applaud Dynamos management committee on this milestone achievement of securing a three-year kit sponsorship.

“These are the fruits of a sound management at the club.

“Dynamos is a big brand, which corporate should scramble to sponsor.

“The current leadership should be applauded for a job well done. As a big club we should be setting the pace while others follow.

“Surely Dynamos will rake in good revenue from merchandise sales, as fans, we can’t wait for the first batch of replicas,” said Musekiwa.

DeMbare marketing and communications manager, Yvonne Mangunda, said they have been overwhelmed with feedback from the domestic football family.

“So far, the response has been largely positive. We have had some great feedback as well, especially on the idea to have an alternative kit. “The fans are impressed by the quality and the designs. But, most of them are loving the training kits, which they feel are the most beautiful.

“The replicas are expected in the country in three months. They will be very identical to the playing kit and the good thing is that we are also looking to have a range for the kids.

“Currently, we are in negotiations with a distributor, who is national, because we want the products to be accessible to every DeMbare fan around the country and the items will also be available through the online shop.

“The ultimate goal is to have our own shop where people can walk in and buy items physically,” said Mangunda.
