The clogged shoes and the nerd glasses are the in-thing for cool teens

I have always admired the late action star Paul Walker as an actor and every time I watch the “Fast and the Furious” franchise I give credits to the director who knew Paul was fit for the role.  My brother always reminded me that it is a “franchise” mfana meaning the movie has passed sequel and trilogy stages. Unfortunately, Paul is dead and MHSRIP and we wait for FF7 which is set for release in June 2014.

Enough of that. Let’s RELOAD. Schools have closed and may the holidays begin.

I know a lot of activities are lined up starting today and my gal Brie is taking care of that. December is fully action packed, if you miss out this holiday, catching up will be difficult.

How many times have you seen someone wearing  a formal, classy or swag outfit in town and they have nerd glasses? Yes, the nerd glasses which made a hit during the “Harry Potter” era are back with a bang. Some people thought it’s an eyesight problem but no, they are a fashion statement. They also come in glittering to colourful frames. Don’t feel left out and complete the look with nerd glasses hey. The advantage, they fit everyone.

Copying the look
Fashion is dynamic but if you don’t want to be left out just copy the look. You are what you wear and eat as character defines you. Why not copy what your favourite celebrity is donning but BEWARE some of the outfits are for the stage not street wear. I like Trey Songs and my wardrobe defines him. Yes, you might not have the designer wear but an imitate is the best.

Summer style isn’t just about strappy sandals thus according to Mitchelle Nherera (14), who inboxed us last week. Thanks Mitchelle hey you representing. “Brogues and clogs keep getting re-invented and that is why they will never go on out of fashion,” she said. Mitchelle said she has always been rocking in her sister’s clogs from 1994. However, currently they are favoured by celebrities like Zoe Kravitz and Ariel Winter. Which do you prefer . . . ?

Swag Tech: the Macbook
Enter the Macbook another product made by Apple company. Though expensive, if you have a friend or relative who has one, make use of it by doing wonders as there are a number of cool things you can do. For example, did you know you can use it without a mouse? This makes it the cool stuff tech of the week. The mouse has been integral to Apple and its pretty much since the year dot, but with a few smart keyboard shortcuts, you can do a huge amount on your Mac without going near it. Aside from the obvious keyboard shortcuts that you’ll see listed next to menu items, meet the application switcher.

Press Command+Tab to bring it up. Hold down Command and press Tab repeatedly to cycle through your open apps; add Shift to move in the opposite direction. Isn’t that cool!
