Call upon the name of the Lord, and He will act

Bishop B.Manjoro Dunamis
When the Lord visits, he brings deliverance and being delivered doesn’t mean that you are possessed but your situation needs to change. Exodus 3;7-8 reads: “And the Lord said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows; And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians.”

These people were in Egypt for 435 years, at first it was merely serving, gradually it became hard until it was unbearable.

God saw their suffering but he did not come until he heard their cries. Child of God you were given the dominion to rule the earth so he acts according to your calling on him.

As we saw in the verse we read above, God waited for the Israelites to cry to him first, and then he visited them. He cannot just come and change or do things without our permission.

In the beginning all the authority was given to Adam, the devil came and took it away from him. Then came the second Adam who retook the dominion and gave it back to us, the devil is no longer the ruler of this world, but we are.

Now the Lord cannot violate his word, he comes only when he is invited. If you don’t say anything, rest assured that he will see but will not act.

Listen brethren, call upon the name of the Lord and he will give you power to change situations.

God visited his children and he reversed their situation which had prolonged for years, that is deliverance. He wants to deliver you too, give him a chance for he is waiting to hear you call him for help. He has been watching all the weeping that has been going on, now he wants to take over.

Do you know that there are some things we are used to, that we do not even think about anymore, yet they hinder progress. This year that goal you had put aside, go for it, what is yours is yours, and if the Lord had said it, you will surely have it all.

He who created eyes, can he not see? Desist from praying to God asking him to see because he is always watching everything whether you ask him to or not. This year let your prayer be “My Lord, hear me’’, because when he hears, he will come and change things for you.

It is written in Matthew that the violent shall take it by force, this year is a year of violence. We are going to say to things come and they come, to others go and they will go. Don’t accept a “no” for an answer, speak until heaven responds and grant you your desire.

When a son asks for bread who can give him a stone? If then you who are evil know how to do good to your children, how much more will the Father in heaven do for his children who are on earth, just ask him to. If a situation is remaining the same, the Lord has not yet heard, don’t give up, continue knocking until the door is opened unto you.

The power to change things is in your hands, pray for a turnaround. The word says that if my people who are called by my name, if they can humble themselves and call unto me, I the Lord will visit them, and I will heal their land. Go on behalf of your nation, your community and your family, and call God to change situations.

David was sent with food to give his brothers, instead he got into the battlefield, he had no bows and arrows or any spear to fight Goliath with, but he had the name of Jesus.

Don’t look down upon yourself, Jesus was born in a manger but great hospitals were there, you have been given an assignment to pray. Take position and fight, you will win, no more feeling inferior, enough is enough, we will rise again.

“For with God all things are possible” (Mark 10:27).
