EMMANUEL BAKO will this weekend lead a strong team of six of Zimbabwe’s top junior and senior motocross riders who will be out to leave an indelible mark during round three of the 2018 South African National Championship Series in Bloemfontein.

Round three of this year’s South African Nationals will be staged on Saturday at Bloemfontein Offroad Club (BORC) track and it will bring together a strong field of more than 150 junior and senior male and female riders from that country and Zimbabwe for this one-day race meeting.

And six of Zimbabwe’s top junior and senior male riders – Bako, Emile Croisette, Daiyaan Manuel, Regan Wasmuth, Davin Cocker and Jayden Ashwell – have already entered to compete in this highly subscribed motocross event at BORC on Saturday. On Saturday, Bako will be carrying the country’s flag in two classes, 65cc and 85cc (Juniors), while promising young rider Croisette will do duty in the 50cc Class.

Manuel, a former South African Nationals 50cc and 65cc Champion, is this year competing in the 85cc ProMini Class and he will be joined on the track on Saturday by Wasmuth and Cocker who will both take part in the 1255cc High School Class. Zimbabwe’s senior champion rider Ashwell will also be in action on Saturday at BORC where he will be fighting for the top honours in the main MX1 Class which by yesterday had an entry list of 20 riders.
