A United Kingdom-based Zimbabwean motivational speaker cum author, Rujeko Oscars-Brown, published her first book last weekend entitled, “For A Season: Live Learn Grow”, which she says was inspired by societal settings in Africa and the world.

Rujeko, a certified NLP Life Coach, who holds multiple degrees from the University of Bradford, Huddersfield and Sheffield Hallam in UK, revealed in an interview that she expresses her feelings by writing a book.

“When I found myself homeless, I had to remind myself of the timeless truth that trouble only lasts for a season,” she said. “Yet this did little to ease my fears as I had no idea how long this uncomfortable season would last. As we boxed up our belongings into storage, we had entered a difficult season in our family life.

“In the seasons of our lives, we go through different and sometimes painful experiences. These should be viewed for what they are: learning experiences that ultimately bring growth.” Rujeko and her family found themselves in a painful and unforgettable life season after a decision to buy a home unexpectedly left them homeless when the deal went sour the last minute.

In this book, Rujeko shares how the family navigated these challenges by trusting in the all-knowing power of God.

Even with Covid-19 restrictions adding to their troubles, the family witnessed the miracle of an answered prayer.

“This beautiful testimony of faith-through-trials will encourage, inspire and empower you to face whatever challenges stand in your way,” said Rujeko. “You will cry, pray and cheer them on as they stand on the word of God for their miracle. It is a story of faith, hope and determination that displays the power of God in the face of any circumstance.”

Arriving in the UK 20 years ago gave Rujeko an opportunity to see the world through a different perspective.  Rujeko believes the eclectic cultural experience gave her a unique insight into people and their various motivations.

Having worked in the education sectors in Africa and the UK, including non-governmental organisations, Rujeko’s passion is in helping individuals unleash their maximum potential to become the best of themselves in their business and career.

She is able to impact people by her coaching, mentoring, speaking and writing skills.

Now coaching full-time to groups and individuals, she organises workshops, meetings in addition to speaking to diverse audiences on changing the mindset, empowerment, growth and success.  Rujeko lives in Yorkshire, UK, with her husband Richard and daughter Claire.

“For a Season: Live, Learn and Grow” is a self-help book and great motivational piece to use during all phases of life.

It will help you break through life challenges to overcoming your limiting beliefs, says Rujeko. In it, Rujeko has provided great principles and strategies that helps one to stay focused on a goal even when there are painful hurdles along the way.

The book is full of techniques to move you from learning to doing. It is mainly for women, although a great read for men, young couples and teenagers.  It will help you make massive changes both practically and emotionally.

The book will be available locally from January 10, 2022 in local stores.
