THE 2019 ZRP Charities horse race meeting will this year feature four runners with In The Mood one of the favourites. The race has attracted a small field as the Sable Flyers is restricted to fillies and mares only.

In The Mood, a five-year-old Bold Silvano mare, is the class horse in this four-horse field and has won seven races, mostly from 1600m to 1800m.

Off the Kirk Swanson’s yard, the runner will have Norbert Takawira on the ride while Some Song, from Gokhan Terzi’s yard, should also be confident after her only start at Borrowdale over 1000m.

The daughter of Oratorio (IRE), also a five-year-old, won a 1200m Maiden at the Vaal in March 2018.

Some Song, with Brendon McNaughton in control, will be expected to be better than stable mate Western Shamrock who has only won a 1000m Maiden Plate at the Vaal in February 2018.

This four-year-old by Philanthropist (USA) will have Hennie Greyling as the pilot while a five-year-old Byword (GB) mare Dunas Douradas, a winner of three races from 1200m — 1800m, completes the race card.
