FIVE junior teams will represent Zimbabwe at the South African Schools Water Polo Championships that will take place from December 12-15 in Johannesburg. This will be the biggest contingent ever sent down by the Zimbabwe Aquatics Union. The SA Schools Water Polo Championships is a major tournament with Zimbabwe as the only external country invited to send national sides to compete against South African selected provincial all-star teams.

Over 1 600 boys and girls aged 13-19 will compete in this co-ed tournament.

There are 11 teams at each age level competing in the girls’ side and 15 competing in the boys’ side of the tournament.
