Nineteen-year-old Nokutenda Mangezi has become the first Zimbabwean player in two years to sign for a South African top-flight side after sealing a three-year deal with SuperSport United.
The former Pamushana High student has been with Real Betis Academy since its inception when he was 16.
After impressing in Betis Academy colours where he also toured Spain in 2022, Mangezi was invited for assessment at the Tswane side in July.
He impressed coach Gavin Hunt, resulting in him being signed.
The striker has limited local Premiership experience after he spent six months on loan at Simba Bhora last year.
He will wear Jersey Number 9 and play alongside Zimbabwean forward Terrence Dzvukamanja who is already in the books of SuperSport United.
Mangezi could debut for his new club in the Tswane Derby against Mamelodi Sundowns tomorrow.
