Zim model in top 10 @Miss Cosmo 2024 Ruvimbo Njomboro

Miss Universe Zimbabwe second runners up Ruvimbo Njomboro made it to the top 10 at the Miss Cosmo International 2024 pageant held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on Saturday night.

The top 10 countries were Indonesia, Zimbabwe, Mexico, Vietnam, Peru, Cambodia, Thailand, Dominicana Republic, United States of America and Phillipines.

The crown went to Indonesia’s Ketut Permata “Tata” Juliastrid.

Ketut Permata beat 55 other candidates to win the coveted crown while Thailand’s Karnruethai Tassabut was her first-runner up.

In addition to winning the crown, Indonesia’s Ketut Permata was celebrated with the Cosmo Beauty Icon award.

She received a prize package that included the Impactful Crown, US$100 000, a luxury phone, a high-end diamond jewelry set, a VIP healthcare package, a car, a year’s stay in a luxury apartment, accommodation at an international standard resort and golf courses, along with numerous other “valuable gifts” and “premium services.”

Meanwhile, Philippine bet and fan favourite Ahtisa Manalo finished her quest for the crown among the top 10 semi-finalists, while also winning two special awards: People’s Choice and Culture Ambassador.

Other special award winners included Miss Cosmo Cambodia Leakena In, who received the Social Ambassador Award; Miss Cosmo Singapore Jiahui Jade Wu, who won the Impactful Beauty Award; Miss Cosmo Vietnam Bui Thi Xuan Hanh, who was honored with Best in Evening

Gown; and Miss Cosmo Nigeria Blessing Tamilade Alimi, who received the Woman Leadership Award. – The Herald/wires
