Fidelis Munyoro Herald Reporter
The Zanu-PF Youth League is hosting the World Federation of Democratic Youth (WFDY) Summit in Harare which begins today.

Youths from 23 African countries and 10 outside the continent are expected to grace the occasion. WFDY is an international youth organisation, recognised by the United Nations and African Union as an international youth non-governmental organisation.

It is anti-imperialistic and left-wing.

Addressing the Zanu-PF Youth League executive last night at the ruling party headquarters, Cde Pupurai Togarepi, the national Youth League secretary, said President Mnangagwa was expected to officially open the summit tomorrow.

He said the summit provided youths with a platform to exchange notes on various issues.

“We have been privileged as Zanu-PF youths to host the WFDY regional youth summit,” he                 said.

“This is an opportunity to share with our counterparts how they are developing their own youths. How they are developing their leaders and packaging business developments for youths in their respective countries.”
