Your ammunition today is persistence

Bishop Catherine Magadzire Correspondent
Today I want to focus on Luke 18:1-4, the parable of the persistent widow . . .

In it, a judge who lacks compassion is repeatedly approached by a poor widow, seeking justice.

“18- Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.

“2 -He said: “In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared what people thought. And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, ‘Grant me justice against my adversary.’”

4 “For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, ‘Even though I don’t fear God or care what people think, 5 yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won’t eventually come and attack me!”

The above teaches us never to give up on life.

Some have lost hope in life itself and do not look forward to tomorrow.

To such people, my message is, do not give up on what you do.

Some have stopped what they used to do for a living, they have just lost hope.

The word today is keep doing it. Do not give up on what you believe in. Keep believing in God.

It is important to always pray.

Some people have stopped going to church while others have stopped to pray.

Keep going to church and continue reading the word of God.

Always do what God tells you to do. This includes charity work.

God still expects you to feed the hungry and giving to the poor.

When you start doing and continue doing this, your door will open. Your answer will come one day.

In prayer you are asking for God’s intervention on your issue, you are crying for justice upon your situation.

The widow had adversaries just like you.

The widow knew the door to knock on with her issues, the king’s door.

Do you know that you need to knock on the door of God with your issues?

God is the just Judge.

The king would not listen and she kept on seeking Justice. She did not give up and kept going to the king with her issue.

Likewise keep approaching the heavens for justice on your issue. What is your issue today?

Is it a “small house” who has taken your husband? If so, seek Justice from the heavens.

Is it sickness that’s haunting you, seek justice from the Lord.

Is it generational curses giving you poverty, anti marriage, rejection, backwardness in everything you do, stagnancy in business and life? If that is your situation, seek Justice from the Lord.

Never give up child of God. Keep seeking justice from the Lord.

Continue praying, and only one day the unbelieving king, not because of the fear of God, but because of bother then listened and justice was granted.

Its only one day that you will receive your answer just because of bother.

Keep bothering the Heavens with prayer, that’s persistence.

One day, God will stand up.

A thousand years is like a day in the eyes of God. What more of God himself who cares for you?

He will definitely grant you justice. Keep on being persistent. One day he will listen and justice will prevail. What about God himself, one who has mercy?

Be persistent with your prayer life. Also be persistent with your business activities and social activities. Always pray with faith. Continue being strong, it pays in the end.
