One of Zimbabwe’s renowned young producers, QuaZor (born Augustine Darara) has joined forces with South African hip hop artiste AB Crazy on a track titled “Talking” to be released today.

QuaZor, who produced the beat of the song at the Young Gamez Entertainment studios, said this collaboration is proof that Zimbabwe has a lot of potential to make it at an international level.

“This collaboration proves that Zimbabwe can also produce good hip hop sound which can meet international standards just like what South Africa’s Cassper Nyovest and Emtee are doing. Having Ab crazy on the song means the sound has what it takes for him to give a nod to it. He appreciated the quality that was produced here in Zimbabwe by a local producer and it says a lot about our talent,” he said.

Through his musical prowess, QuaZor has managed to produce some of the most sought after beats and he has been described as one of the youngest Zimbabwean producers that are setting fire in the musical arena.

At only 19, he had managed to work with some of the big names in Zimbabwe and the list include Tocky Vibes, Trevor Dongo, Dobba Don, Guspy Warrior, Natty O, Ras Caleb, Ti Gonzi, Xtra Large and Trae Yung among others.

QuaZor said “Talking” is about shutting down critiques who always have bad things to say about people’s business.

“The song is basically about people who always like to say negative things when someone is progressing. So the message in the is to not be discouraged by that but instead let your success speak even louder. I am hopeful that it will inspire a lot of young people,” he said.

In his musical journey, QuaZor has also worked with a number of established international artistes like Dermy Dee and Nuchie from Jamaica, Luoie from the United Kindgdom, Don Franco, Teban Cee and Jah Link from South Africa , Rerato from Australia and Camp from Canada.

He added that he is looking forward to working with other international stars as well as local talents in his upcoming album.

“There will be more collaborations with top SA names as well as an album which will feature other local artistes like Travor Dongo, Briss Mbada and Ti gonzi,” said QuaZor.
