Winky D, Jah Prayzah for Gweru Winky D performS at Harare Cup Clash 2014 at the City Sports Centre over the weekend

The city of Gweru will be on fire next week as artistes Jah Prayzah, Winky D, Terminator, Mambo Lodza and Tarasina Chibaya are set to share the stage at Midlands Hotel. The show is set to ignite the opening of the new semester for university students. The show organiser said they were happy to be hosting such an event with the artistes.

“We want students to enjoy the opening of the new semester and that is the reason why we decided to bring these several artistes together for that show,” he said.

Winky D is one of the top dancehall artistes who has been releasing hit songs constantly. The musician who has bagged numerous awards has performed in different parts of the country.

The Ninja President as the musician is fondly known has songs such as “Musarove Bigman”, “Paita Party” and “Mafirakureva” among others.

His manager Jonathan Banda promised a night of dance as the Ninja President will be at his best.

“We are always prepared for any gig and we promise fireworks in Gweru,” said Banda.

Jah Prayzah through his manageress Filda Muchabaiwa said it was going to be a great show as they are sharing stage with talented artistes.

“We will be taking our new songs to Gweru so that people will get a sample. As you can see there are good artistes ,” she said.

Muchabaiwa said they have set May 22 as the date for the launch of the album at HICC. “The date and everything is now ready. So we are hosting a number of shows around the country so that our fans get to sample the new songs,” she said.

Terminator who is fast becoming popular is also expected to give a top notch performance at the show.
