ZIMBABWE professional golfer, Scott Vincent extended his lead to four shots after carding a second consecutive six-under-par 66 at the Asian Tour qualifying school at Windsor Park Golf Club in Bangkok after the third round yesterday.

Annop Tangkamolprasert of Thailand signed for a second straight 65 to sit in second place on 15-under-par 201 total.

Players, who finished inside the top 19 and ties at the Windsor Park Golf Club today, will make it into the final stage of the Qualifying School next week and Vincent is almost there with his impressive showing. At the Springfield Royal Country Club, Thailand’s Ekthumrong Luanganuruk signed for a four-under-par 67 to spring into a share of lead with overnight co-leader B G Chae of Korea, who battled to a 72.

Australian Gavin Fairfax returned with a 68 to take third place with Victor Osterby of Denmark. Japan’s Masashi Sakikawa, who held a share of the overnight lead, slipped to tied-eighth following a disappointing 79.
