Entertainment Reporters
Upcoming reggae artistes Tinashe “Logun” Nyaluwa and Takudzwa “Slash Tee” Chinoda jointly launched album at Misty’s Night Club in Newlands this past Friday.

The duo released their debut albums with Splash Tee’s “The Coming” and Logun’s “Rainy Days” to a full house at a function presided over by musician

and performing poet Albert Nyathi.

Both musicians are not new in the industry as they have both worked with a number of artistes who include Ba Shupi, Mic Inity,Sniper Storm, Transit Crew and Guspy Warrior among others.

They each performed some of the songs from their new albums to a warm reception from the audience.

Keyboardist “Slash Tee”

was on a personal mission to prove his mettle after serving in dancehall chanter’s Guspy Warrior’s band for more than two years.

Splash Tee is the lead vocalist of reggae group “House Of Stones”. Former Mic Inity music promoter, Stuts Angie, who is the promoter for the duo, said the double album launch was successful and gave thanks to the special guests who included Partson Chimbodza.

Albert Nyathi used the opportunity to wear his Zimbabwe Music Rights Association chairman hat and talk about general issues affecting artistes.

He also welcomed Splash Tee and Logun into the Zimbabwe music family saying that they had earned their place.

“Everyone should know that it is not easy to reach this level in the music industry so Splash Tee and Logun have showed their tenacity and I hope they will persevere in their music endeavour,’’ he said.
