ONCE again the MDC -T has cried foul or is it “headless fowls?” “More” Morgan Tsvangirai has once again against all odds regarded the election results as “null and void”, is this not disturbing? It is definitely something that will churn one’s intestines until one ends laughing his lungs and intestines out. As if this is not enough, his foreign handlers, the Britons, the Americans and the Australians and of course his friend Seretse Khama Ian Khama or is it “Sekesa Hama Iyemi Hama” have once again been disappointed by the election outcome and have therefore been scandalously trying to push for an election re-run: which will only happen when the sun starts rising from the west.

Such mischievous utterances are nothing but a bad dream and must be condemned in the strongest possible terms.
Dear reader let not what they say violate your eardrums, whatever they say does not warrant or call for your noble attention because one cannot accuse a dog of stealing a bone when he has not seen a bone in its backyard.

Those trying to mudsling the harmonised elections must wake up to the fact that only a foolish man roasts sweet potatoes and also his fingers in the process.
Why should one worry oneself to appease a buffoon?

Dedicated revolutionary leaders like President Mugabe talk and walk the talk.
This is because he is guided by the revolutionary Chimurenga principles and ethos.

President Mugabe’s pan-African and anti-neo-imperialist stance has made him a great statesman.
He is respected by all those who are fighting for their political and economic emancipation and rights explaining why he has always received standing ovations wherever he goes.

President Mugabe has only been at odds with the retrogressive elements of this world.
Our President has been fighting relentlessly against neo-imperialist domination and exploitation.

All his life he has fought hard to cleanse Zimbabwe of all social, economic and cultural obstacles that derail its progress.
His is a campaign for the restoration of the African dignity and recognition.

It is beyond doubt that the progressive African is always confronted by the former colonial power whose mischievous and nefarious machinations have unashamedly possessed some of “our own”.

The colonial ethos bestride the greedy hearts of such unrepentant Africans oblivious of the fact that they are forever being relegated to a position of inferiority in the land of their birth.

They have never tried to understand how the control of Africa by colonialists and neo-colonialists slipped and continues to slip from the hands of its rightful owners.
This is what Zimbabweans have said “No!” to.

This is because we understand our history, the history of the liberation struggle, the history of the Chimurenga which uniquely differentiates us from others because it has always made us have a practical end in view. We are what we are because of the Chimurenga and we are proud of that.

This is why Zimbabweans are proud to stand head and shoulder above the others where ever they go. We salute our Zimbabwean freedom because Zimbabwe is in the hands of its rightful owners.

Our task as Zimbabweans is to continue guarding our sovereignty jealously and continue along a path that will make us not only an economic powerhouse in the region but in Africa.

The philosophy of non-violence has once again proved that it is very effective especially when backed by a strong political organisation.
It makes our detractors helpless because non-violence is highly explosive.

With the assistance of the observer missions that observed the harmonised elections we must continue lobbying for the removal of sanctions.
The Zimbabwean intellectuals must assist our Parliamentarians to carry the Zimbabwean developmental banner forward.

We strongly contend that the Permanent Secretary of Higher and Tertiary Education, Dr Washington Mbizvo has already set the ball rolling.
All those Zimbabwean intellectuals must realise the importance of serving their country either through investments or by coming back and seed their intellectual capabilities in the development of Zimbabwe.

The educated Zimbabwean intellectual if put into use has powerful ideas and ideologies that can benefit the nation and the country.
Most educated Zimbabweans who are known to be visionary must assist the ordinary Zimbabwean masses who have seen the essence of being a new Zimbabwean.

A Zimbabwean who has become aware of why he must not be like a tail but an employer and a beneficiary of his country’s God given “Zimbabwean vineyard.”
The new Zimbabwean citizen is now aware of the new social and economic stratification that will make Zimbabwe a beacon of success.

We have seen and come to grips with the Zanu-PF vision embedded in the land reform that has given Zimbabwe a new vigorous agricultural pattern.
This is a new social, economic and industrial consciousness that is noble because as Zimbabweans we have got eyes that other people elsewhere do not have. President Mugabe’s vision has ushered in a new way of organising and doing things: new skills, new insights and new dreams.

It is a vision that has annihilated social, economic and educational barriers and it is only a narrow minded Zimbabwean who cannot appreciate this.
Let our voices be heard, let us exert our energies in reviving our industries for we are aware of the glaring discrepancies between the developed and developing world.
We have our God given resources and cannot make concessions with those who have imposed illegal sanctions on us, we cannot make concessions to “neo-imperialist generosity” that comes in the form of financial bailouts, we demand our share from what they are tapping from our country, it is a demand and there can be no half-way compromise.

The Zanu-PF ideologies that have won them this historic election is an honest effort on the part of the leadership to make all progressive minded Zimbabweans reassert their human dignity which the neo-imperialists or neo-colonialists want to deny us.

It is an honest effort to throw into the historical dust bin neo-colonialism that is bent on subjecting us to an inferior position.
That is why we strongly opine that the MDC-T foreign handlers cannot tell us whether our recently held harmonised elections were credible or not.

Whatever merits foreign advice may have the fact remains that the essence of foreign advice taken as raw as it is by myopic Africans; is the imposition of the foreign advisors’ will and as sound minded Zimbabweans we cannot accept it.

It is a deprivation of the will and freedom of the people and that when not challenged will forever be a humiliating experience.
What we wish to refute here in unequivocal terms is the erroneous and unfortunate statements by Zimbabwe’s detractors and disparagers that the elections were rigged.

People elect leaders whom they trust. Power is in the hands of the electorate who elect the leader they want to take charge of the highest office.
It is the electorate who has the mandate through their votes to elect or not elect someone into office.

If they are dissatisfied with the candidate, the candidate cannot enthrone himself.
There can be no leader who can be law unto himself unless he is a dictator an election can therefore not be “null and void” when the people have spoken.
The leader represents the will of the people and must truly represent the people’s interests.

Authority is delegated to them by the people.
The Zimbabwean civil servants have been languishing in poverty without any meaningful salary increase since the formation of the now defunct inclusive Government.

It is an affliction that the civil servants must be salvaged from.
Before the MDC-T president can quiz himself or grapple with what happened with the so-called “Manicaland stronghold,” he must ask some of the enlightened men in his camp, if there are any, why he lost all those seats?

Zimbabweans cannot allow having their lives held at ransom.
The MDCs roasted both their sweet potatoes and their hands and this explains why they were no match to Zanu-PF in the harmonised elections.
There is in this country a school of thought that posit that Zimbabweans no longer tolerate parliamentarians who are weak kneed and cannot deliver  their electoral campaign promises.

Parliamentarians who do not deliver do not share the ordinary people’s vision and this explains why some failed to use the Constituency Development Funds meaningfully.

The vision such incompetent legislators have is to drive the latest cars and to stash their pockets with cash.
History has shown that the political lives of such parliamentarians will soon burn out like gasoline and there will always be people waiting to replace them.
The parliamentarians who will be inaugurated soon has a mandate from the people to lead them, they must overcome the challenges that incapacitated the GNU.

Common sense is all that is needed. It does not need a political scientist to know that one votes for a parliamentarian or leader who improves the well-being of his people.

Zimbabweans cannot afford to starve in the midst of plenty.
We contend that the incoming Zanu-PF government will address the plight of civil servants.

We strongly opine that the harmonized election have opened a new chapter in the lives of all Zimbabweans be it in the public or private sector.
They must once again have smiles on their faces. The incoming parliamentarians must say ‘No! to the Shylocks of this world.

No to corruption and no to those who want to benefit from where they have not worked.’ We congratulate the People for voting wisely and Zanu-PF for winning the election.

We also wish our uniformed forces a very happy Defence forces Day.
