Teen musician Tume dreams big Tume Siziba

Rising teenage singer Tume Siziba has vowed to become a force to reckon in the music industry through her distinct contemporary gospel music.

The 18 year-old recently released a track titled “Anonzwa Vanhu” which features gospel diva Nyasha Mutonhori Nyaparami.

The worship song describes the nature of God as a good listener who hears his children when they call unto Him. 

The song goes further to describe the power of God that is able to heal -the sick, correct bad situations and grants the desires of the heart for those that call upon His name.

The talented singer goes on to encourage people to call upon the Lord no matter what they are going through.

In an interview, Siziba said that her passion is to inspire youths to love God through her music and aims to become a refined gospel musician.

“My mission as a musician is to inspire youths of my age to worship and serve God. 

“I aim nothing more than winning souls for Christ. I believe through hard work, passion and perseverance I will soon become a force to reckon in the music industry,” she said.  

Apart from music Siziba believes in advancing her education and is currently pursuing a National Certificate in Metallurgical Assaying, a specialised programme associated with mining.

 She said having discipline has been helping her to balance her school work and career.

“It is not easy to balance my studying time and music but with help from my parents I have developed some discipline and I know how to balance my time. I always try to do my best in everything that l do.

Siziba released her first debut “Ndovimba Nemi in July last year which had the privilege to run in the local gospel chart shows.

Tume was born in Masvingo in a family of six and then grew up in Harare. She discovered her talent at the age of 10 when she started to sing in the praise and worship team at the Assemblies of God Church.
