RELAGATION-THREATENED Black Rhinos head coach Stanford “Stix” M’tizwa has rallied his charges to turn on the power when they take on equally troubled Harare City in a Castle Lager Premiership match at Rufaro this afternoon. The two Harare sides are in the murky waters of relegation with only three games left before the 2017 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League curtain comes down.

The army side will be expecting to take their points tally to 41 if they win today’s encounter while a win for their opponents will move them to 38 points. M’tizwa believes their opponents are riding on their success in the Chibuku Super Cup and will be tough opposition.

“We are facing a team that is still celebrating their win in a Cup game so they are high on confidence but I believe my team is ready for them,’’ said M’tizwa.

“The game is going to be a tough one as we are all battling relegation but we are prepared for the game. We will throw everything at them as we cannot manage to drop even a point at this stage. We need to start fighting relegation and finish strongly at the end of the season. We have a suspended player in Taurai Chigudu but we have enough arsenal as well.

“We have worked with our strikers who were wasting a lot of chances in front of goal. The players have worked hard at training.’’ Rhinos started the season on a high, and even topped the championship race, but faltered along the way and suddenly they are fighting relegation.
