Stay focused

Bishop Dr B. Manjoro Dunamis
Last week we saw how trust in God propels us in the supernatural speed of God and how a decision makes all the difference in one’s life, no matter their background or what they have gone through.
Today we will add another key from God’s word which can unlock God’s supernatural power on your life. Despite what circumstance you are going through right now, God’s supernatural power can touch your life and propel you to greater heights in this year, 2014 a year of supernatural speed. Read on and discover how through the power of focus; you can channel the blessings and power of God in your life, family, finances, health, issues and every other matter that concerns you. You will never be the same again!
‘…And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear. But straight away Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. And Peter answered him and said, ‘Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, ‘Come, and when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.’ But when he saw the wind boisterous he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried, saying, Lord save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, ‘O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? (Matthew 14:26-31).
Peter after making a big and tangible decision to step out and walk on water to go to Jesus, we see him actually walk on water because of the one word Jesus had spoken to him – ‘Come!’ There is power in the word of God. In this year stand on the word of God; without wavering and God will life you up, James 1:4-5. Suddenly the once fearful Peter found himself walking on top of the wave.
If you stand on God’s word you will walk on that sickness tearing your body; the huge piles of outstanding bills; the dire need of a job or even the barren case you have. Actually, if you are reading this article and they have told you something was put in your womb hence you will never hold a child. Be of good courage, it’s your time! The supernatural power of God is about to be activated in your life and womb.
Peter was focused on Jesus and the moment he did not focus he began to sink. All this you hear and desire in 2014 about supernatural speed and exceeding great blessings will only come when you focus. Haikona kuti pano, apo pano, no! Keep focused. If it’s a house; a car; a promotion; or an amount of money you need tell yourself it’s coming and don’t lose focus. As long as Peter focused and looked on Jesus, he dominated the natural and supernaturally walked on water. But when he lifted his eyes off Jesus and looked at the fierce and boisterous wind, suddenly he began to sink. What happened is that when he lost focus he shifted from the supernatural to the natural
Friend, you need faith in this season of supernatural speed. Without it you cannot please God. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Even if others have gone seven years ahead of you; you will catch up. You just keep telling yourself, ‘I am coming, I am coming.’ When you begin to operate in the supernatural what you know in the natural is irrelevant. Don’t try to compare the supernatural with the natural. Supernatural speed in the natural is actually over-speeding and gets you in trouble with authorities, so don’t compare it. The supernatural is supernatural, O hallelujah!
Probably you could be saying by now, ‘You, see Bishop, I think like Peter, I have also lost focus in life; in my marriage, family, at work, frightening medical reports and almost all of my life – I’m sinking!’ You will sink no more! O glory!
Peter doubted, lost focus and began to sink. But hear is the goodness of God and supernatural speed in action; when he realised he was sinking, suddenly with speed he shouted to Jesus for help. Not to Matthew or Philip but Jesus. Are you in a dire situation of which you do not even know what to do? Call on Jesus! I have seen many of you how you react when someone steps on you or when you’re in trouble like Peter was. You say, ‘O my mother!’ Ah will she come there? Peter called on the king of kings and Lord of lords. Quickly call on the name of Jesus! Even if you are a well known sinner in community, I have a good word for you – call to Jesus, he is ready and willing to help you and be the Lord of your life. Ask Him to come into your life right now, O hallelujah.
What then did Jesus do when Peter called out for help? With supernatural speed, Jesus took hold of his hand and got in the ship with him.
And suddenly the storm calmed down and he said, ‘O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?’ That situation you are facing I declare it null and void. It has no room anymore for it’s not allowed, in Jesus’ name. It’s over it’s over! All storms are over.
What was done on Christmas or on New Year; on top of the mountain, drums being beaten, I declare it broken. It’s not allowed on your children at workplace, in your house or life. Even if they winnowed ashes and did all rituals against you, it will not prosper! Isaiah 54:17.
I wonder how some of these things catch up with you even if you are in quiet suburbs or even in Diaspora. You wonder which mode of transport they use to come where you are. And some of you are reasoning, ‘Eh but bishop you don’t understand, I was bewitched by someone who is late by now!’ Ah, only that! That’s not a problem. The one I write of right now and preach to you also died. But he rose again! O hallelujah! It’s broken; it’s broken; it’s broken!
I remember years back, in Mutare when one lady came to my wife and cried saying my clothes were taken and put somewhere at a waterfall and now as the water falls I can’t stop bleeding. It was terrible. We told her, ‘Ok, we are going to send the boys (God’s angels) to go and deal with it right now. They know exactly what was done and where.’ The following day she came with a testimony! It had all gone! She was immediately and totally healed, O hallelujah. I like it, I like it. With men it is impossible, but not with God, for with God all things are possible, Mark 10:27.
