Winners of national talent show, Star Brite Season Two will tomorrow be announced at a ceremony to be held at Cresta Lodge after a hectic three weeks of voting. According to the show’s founder, Barney Mpariwa, all is in place for the red carpet event that has attracted raving reviews through its reality show that was running during the three weeks of voting on ZTV.

“After three weeks of voting, the platform was closed on November 29.

“Over 15 000 voters came through and we are excited about it.

“A qualified local auditor, Shane Lindsay is working with us to ensure there is transparency in the process,” he said.

Nine singers, three dancers and two poets from different parts of the country battle it out to come out tops in their respective categories.

The successful artistes will take home substantial prizes that include residential stands, electric gadgets and groceries, according to Mpariwa.

Glitz and glamour will follow the proceedings as finalists will be ferried in Harmer H2 Stretch limousines, courtesy of Sam’s Limos.
Entertainment will be provided by some of the finalists from 1992 edition of Star Brite.

“We want to make the show as glamour’s as possible, so we have invited former Star Brite finalists from 1992, 2012 and 2013 that includes Prudence Katomeni, Kireni Zulu and Tendai Chidarikire to be part of the performers.

“We urge people to come in numbers and experience the making of legends” he said.
A star-studded line up of guests will also add sass to the event.

Invitations have been sent through to socialite Makosi Musambasi, Germany-based hip-hop star Metaphysics and different players in the corporate sector.
