This year the selection panel will include sports writers, soccer coaches and club captains.Champions Dynamos have in the past provided the kings of domestic football in Washington Arubi (2011), Denver Mukamba (2012), Tawanda Muparati (2013).

Charles Sibanda won the 2010 Soccer Star of the Year award while at Motor Action.
