United Kingdom based rapper Tichaona Monera, also known as Rhyme Assassin, has had a career boost since releasing his star-studded single titled “Rhyme Apostles”.

Released just over a month ago, the track which features celebrated international rappers including Jadakiss, Craig G, Ruste, Reks, Juxx and Antlive among others, has propelled Rhyme Assassin to one of the biggest rappers to come out of the country, juxtaposing him with the continent’s greats.

Laid on a traditional hip hop beat that takes one back in time, the punchy lyrics give one the appreciation of the original rap sound which seems to be fading at the emergence of new school sounds that include trap and drill.

The 12 minute-long song is a rallying call for the revival of the genre from the “apostles,” artistes who have been in the game for decades making great contributions that rap enthusiasts still reminisce on.

Rhyme Assassin, a pioneering rapper who rose to fame as part of the duo Nameless 263, did justice to the song, matching the input of the legends from different parts of the world.

It’s safe to say, the stars well managed to bring back the great rap sound that gave birth to legends like 2pac, Nas, Snoop Dog, and Notorious BIG to mention a few and hip hop lovers have been receptive of the song.

Rhyme Assassin said the song has been receiving great reviews across the globe.

“The song is being greatly received in many parts of the world, evident with the great reviews and media covering we have been getting”, he said.

“I’ve been interviewed on many platforms including at the Orlando based 21 Eleven radio Show hosted by Derrick Scott; this interview is available online. The song is also on circulation on 104.9FM WRBB radio in Boston, United States.

“There are so many other radio stations playing the song across the globe, including in my home country Zimbabwe.”

Rhyme Assassin said he was invited by Shade 45 for an interview.

“I was even invited to Sirious FM/Shade 45 during my recent visit of the United States, but I was not ready for it, but will soon go back for that,” he said.

Shade 45 is a hip hop channel owned by legendary US rapper Eminem.

Rhyme Assassin is currently working on an album that will feature hip hop greats from across the globe.
