AWARD-winning gospel musicians Blessing Shumba and Reverend Togarepi Chivaviro are today set to release two tracks —“Hakuna Anoramba” and “Chiedza” — which they did together.
This is the first time that the two celebrated gospel musicians have combined forces in music.
“Hakuna Anoramba” was composed by Rev Chivariro, while Blessing Shumba penned “Chiedza”.
The two tracks were produced by Charles Ayibeck.
In separate interviews, both artistes expressed joy and anticipated that their music will be well received by their followers.
“I am very honoured to work with Pastor Shumba on these two projects, which I believe were long overdue,” said Rev Chivariro.
“It is something we had been discussing, but could not do it. When the opportune time arose, we then did the projects.”
Shumba said the songs were filled with hope and assurance, which are key subjects of the season.
“We believe these songs will touch many souls because of the rich content they carry,” he said. “They are praise songs which are full of life, hope, encouragement and assurance.”
Shumba said fans played a big role in encouraging them to work together and come up with something unique.
