ALL is set for the ZIFA Central and Eastern Region chairmanship elections tomorrow in Masvingo and Gweru. The Central Region post was left vacant last year when former chairman Felton Kamambo was elevated to the national Zifa Board and three candidates will battle it out.

They are Central Region board member administration Stanley Chapeta, Whawha Football Club chairperson Musa Ntonga and former regional boss Patrick Hokonya.

The Eastern Region post was left vacant after former chairman Piraishe Mabhena was also elected onto the ZIFA Board.

Ashel Mutungura, who appears as the early favourite, Harare-based Masvingo City chairman, Special Matarirano and Zifa Eastern Region board member finance, Davison Muchena, are in the race.

Meanwhile, ZIFA Northern Region Division One side Herentals continue with their pre-season preparations today when they host their annual four-team tournament at the National Sports Stadium B Arena.

The tournament will see the hosts taking on Dstv Rangers, Mushowani Stars and newly-promoted Commando Bullets.

The Herentals College tournament has a sponsorship package of $5 000 and has become an annual event.
