Madagascar has invited President Mnangagwa to attend the inauguration of its President-elect Andry Rajoelina.

A special envoy from Madagascar led by Mayor of Antananarivo and former Minister of Foreign Affairs Naina Andriantsitohaina that met President Mnangagwa at State House in Harare today said they have been sent by the re-elected President Rajoelina.

“In a few weeks, there will be the inauguration ceremony. We have been sent as a special envoy to see the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe to invite him to come to the ceremony and to strengthen the link between our two countries,” he said.
