Preparations for Mashonaland East Agriculture Show at advanced stage

Preparations for the 2024 Mashonaland East provincial agriculture show are at an advanced stage and several exhibitors have already shown commitment to participate at the annual event, provincial Agriculture Show Society general manager Mr Tonderayi Choga has said.
In an interview with The Herald, Mr Choga said this year will see new exhibitors exhibiting at the event which will run under the theme, “Innovative Resilience Solution to Climate Shocks”.
“We invited exhibitor and as always a lot of organisations have responded'” he said. “The response is very encouraging and they have already started preparations for the day.
“We are also playing our part to make sure that when the day comes, we will be prepared.” He said as a society they want to make sure that everything needed on the day is avaiable. “The challenge we are facing at the moment is that of electricity therefore water supply for companies to prepare their places is stressed,” he said.

“The show will start from September 11 toSeptember 14, 2024. “Our theme is attributed to changes in the climate so we are looking at how companies and farmers in Zimbabwe can adapt and prevent the effects of climate change.
“We have a lot of new players who will exhibit this year and we are excited. We encourage more players to come on board,” he said.
The event will be held at the Marondera show grounds.
