Prosecutor-General Mr Kumbirai Hodzi has applauded the flawless manner in which the Covid-19 vaccination is being conducted, adding that the response from his staff has been overwhelming.

The NPA is one of the key State agencies that is part of essential service providers, and have been reporting for work during the national lockdown period.

Mr Hodzi said this while receiving his second jab on Tuesday at his offices, together with his senior and junior staff members.

“This is my second jab, it is important for every citizen in Zimbabwe to have confidence in the vaccination process. For us as a country to return to a normal economic and social activities, every one of us or a fair number must get vaccinated.

“I am happy, this is my second jab after 28 days and the process is flawless. I have not experienced any side effects; the same goes to my members of staff, they all got their first jabs and they have not reported any side effects at all,” he said.

Over 220 000 Zimbabweans have so far taken their first jabs while the numbers are also growing gradually for those taking their second dose.
