Pastor Ashimolowo jets in

His Presence Ministries International was founded by Apostle Charles Chiriseri and his wife Petunia.
The conference, which is being held at the City Sports Centre, began on Tuesday and is expected to end on Friday.

Pastor Ashimolowo was expected to start preaching last night and he will share the stage with Apostle Chiriseri and South African Pastor Xola Nzo during the conference
In an interview upon his arrival at the Harare International Airport yesterday, Pastor Ashimolowo said he was bringing a message of hope to the people of Zimbabwe irrespective of the challenges that the country had gone through.

“I am bringing a message of hope and healing to the Zimbabweans. I am confident that Zimbabwe has a great future and that there will be a turn around because change has come.
“We want to see Zimbabweans lift their heads up and not bow to any challenges because there will be tremendous testimonies. Zimbabweans should therefore be ready for a turn around,” he said.

Pastor Ashimolowo who is senior Pastor of Kingsway International Christian Centre in the UK, said the challenges that Zimbabwe was facing were not unique to the country.
“Zimbabwe is facing some challenges that are faced globally, but the important thing is focusing on what God says to you,” he said.

Pastor Ashimolowo who has been ministering for over 28 years was born in Nigeria in 1952 to Muslim parents.
He converted to Christianity at the age of 22 after the death of his father before enrolling for Bible School.

He has authored more than 30 books and his programmes feature on several international television stations.
