Paloma, who made headlines after landing a major role on prime time television on the new reality show, “Diamond & Dolls” on Showmax and also featured in “The Queens of Mzansi”, said she was aiming for another show in the Middle East.
Many asked if she was there for greener pastures, looking for a new filming project on a Dubai reality television show, or she was there to set up shop with her entrepreneurial skills.
“I just moved in and yet to understand the dynamics. I have been visiting a lot here doing my research, but later decided to stay here,” she said. “In South Africa, yes, was more on television shows, but not many knew I was also pursuing my education.
“I now have two-degree programmes. I worked in the digital communication industry as a content creator, and have been featured on fashion pages.”
Her sponsorship from Hailo, a premium security luxury transport service, left viewers amazed by her ability.
Meanwhile, former model and pastor, Jefferson Muserera, is set to host an etiquette seminar dubbed “# Chena Urongeke 2023” which is aimed at teaching people mental initiation to carry themselves well.
The event is slated for tomorrow in Harare’s CBD at Karigamombe Building, and will be graced by local artists, fashion icons, stylists, and designers, among others. Among the entertainers will be Fusion Five Mangwiro, Priscynth and Strive wekwaMasiwa.
Muserera said the event was an avenue to help people unlock their talents and dreams. Guests are expected to receive coaching that can transform their lives.
Muserera made it clear this was a turning point that was aimed to use his knowledge and bring change and help others transform lives.
“We are doing the ‘#Chena Urongeke’, a Zimbabwe tour project. This project is aimed at spreading the news about grooming because a lot of people are not good with that, especially the coaching side of it,” he said.
“This will also allow people to see the importance of coaching and getting inspiration from others. The project is grooming basically and coaching at large.”
Muserera said the project was targeting major cities such as Harare, Bulawayo, Gweru, Masvingo, and Mutare.
“This project will be launched in major cities of the country and I have already done it in Mutare, Gweru, Bulawayo. I am doing the Harare edition this week then Masvingo next week. The one in Harare is the biggest because it has the potential to attract more people in the country,” he said.
Muserera said the project had received endorsements internationally and was still making milestones with a television reality show ready to go on air.
He said the tour will run in those cities which he feels would need more to polish up the project as it resonates well with the idea of making an impact in grooming and bringing change in people’s lives.
Muserera said he was going to honour people that were selected and fit for changing lives at the event.
