Pagomba Café will tonight host Alick Macheso for a show that will see the sungura ace going it alone throughout the night.

Macheso usually performs with a supporting act, but tonight he takes the tough task of being on stage for many hours to keep his fans entertained.

Pagomba Café has become Beitbridge’s prime entertainment joint and has hosted various musicians since it opened. At the previous shows that Macheso has performed without a supporting act, he has shown amazing energy.

The musician can perform for about seven hours and still show no signs of fatigue. In most cases, his security personnel have a tough task of convincing him to get off the stage when his time is up.

It is certain that Beitbridge fans will have a memorable night because Macheso this week revealed that he is in love with the town. His publicist Tich Makahamadze said they are excited to reunite with their fans in the border town.

“It is always a good experience to perform at Pagomba Café. We have been there several times and Beitbridge memories are always the best. We are ready for this show.

‘‘It will be 100 percent Orchestra Mberikwazvo and the night will obviously be funfilled,”said Makahamadze.

Macheso is currently sampling songs from his upcoming album and tonight will be no exception.
