BUJUMBURA. — Eight opposition parties have created a coalition and announced that they will choose one candidate to the presidential election and common lists for legislative and communal elections in Burundi’s 2015 general elections, according to a declaration of the parties on Thursday.

The declaration stipulated that those eight parties “commit to participate in Burundi’s 2015 elections with a common platform” in order to have a “peaceful, united, prosper and reconciled” country.

In that declaration, those parties call on all political forces to join their coalition. — Xinhua.
