Reigning Miss Globe Zimbabwe Nyasha Mutsauri believes she has what it takes to bring the world title back home from the 89th edition finals of Miss Globe World to be held in Istanbul, Turkey, on December 20. “I have been preparing myself since July and am ready to showcase the very best of my country at a world class pageant,” she said.

“I feel honoured to have been chosen and see it as an opportunity to show that Zimbabwe is able to perform and excel at an international competition,” she said.

Since winning the local title in July Mutsauri has been busy running a charity project called “Bridging the Gap between Past and Present” which focuses on rehabilitating and maintaining elderly people’s homes in the country.

In addition she has taken up other worthwhile causes such as the environment where she modelled at the recent TRASHion show which aims to promote recycling of garbage and waste for productive uses.

The stunning 23-year-old model will also be co-hosting the upcoming Miss Heritage World pageant to be held at Harare’s Rainbow Towers this Saturday.

Mutsauri is currently studying for a BA degree in Public Relations through the University of South Africa to bolster her impressive portfolio.

The Miss Globe World finals will see models from more than 30 countries from around the globe vying for the prestigious title which will open up opportunities in international modelling as well as other high-profile careers in the entertainment industry.

The organisation owns the rights to various titles, including “Miss Globe”, “Miss Globe International”, “Miss Globe Beauty Pageant” and “Miss Globe Beauty”.
