THE ZIFA Northern Region Division One have sealed their biggest sponsorship package after partnering Ruyamuro Services Stations in a $60 000 deal.

The unveiling ceremony was done on a house boat in Kariba with several football administrators in attendance.

Ruyamuro were given the naming rights to the most competitive Division One region in the country.

The partnership between the two started back in 2017 where the petroleum dealer sponsored the Soccer Star of the Year vehicle.

Speaking at the unveiling ceremony, Ruyamuro director, Freeman Gutsa, said they were happy to be associated with ZIFA Northern Region Division One.

“We feel honoured to be associated with the ZIFA Northern Region Division One and our relationship started way back so we are honouring our promise which we made at the beginning of the year.

“Sport works as a unifier and we are happy that we have managed to honour our promise.

“It is our hope that the sponsorship package will go a long way in developing the game. We also believe that it is our duty to promote sport and support each other, especially considering that the business we are into is owned by a true Zimbabwean who likes to promote locals,” said Gutsa.

Willard Manyengavana, the region’s hard-working chairman, said he was happy with the package.

“We take pride to unveil this partnership and we promise you that we will not drag your good name into disrepute.

“We are happy that we have an opportunity to be part of you.
