Controversial Zim dancehall chanter Lady Squanda is set to release an eight-track album titled “8 Bullets”. The album carries songs such as “Ndaneta Kurwira Rudo”, “Uchandirambisa”,”Zvandinoda”, “Let Me Love You” among others.

In an interview with The Herald Entertainment, the self proclaimed Zim dancehall queen said she worked so hard to come up with the album and is looking forward to a positive response.

“I am in a happy relationship now and the experiences I got from past relationships inspired me to come up with this album being the reason why most of the songs are love songs save for only ‘Musakwate Porisi’.

“I have discovered that there comes a time in life were everyone falls in love so I am sure that it is going to be received by people from different backgrounds, the young and the old,” she said. Since she stormed the show business, the “Bronco neChapomba” hitmaker has had her own fair share of controversy. She was once accused of stealing a song by a Bulawayo dancehall artiste and she allegedly failed to deliver mobile phones given to her during a tour to the United Kingdom in 2013.

Instead of handing over the phones to the relatives of the Diasporans, Lady Squanda reportedly made of with the smart phones.

Last year she was embroiled in a fight with fellow artiste Ninja Lipsy over a man.

Despite her unpredictable character, the young dancehall artiste who was raised by her maternal grandmother following the death of her mother when she was five-years-old, remains popular among fans locally or abroad.

Lady Squanda has shared the stage with a number of top international artistes including Jamaican dancehall star Capleton who now prefers to be called King Shango.

It is yet to be seen if this new love will make her change her for the better.
