The annual Easter Funfair returns to Montclair Hotel and Casino next weekend with a galore of activities.

The funfair will run from April 19 to 22 with daily festivities for families including entertainment from gospel sensation Janet Manyowa.

The “Zadzisa” hitmaker said she is ready for her tour of Nyanga and she hopes to bless families with her music.

The Easter funfair is usually attended by families from many parts of the country including Harare, Mutare, Marondera and Rusape. Some of the funfairs have been graced by families from as far as Masvingo, Gweru and Bulawayo.

Manyowa said she is glad to be part of such festivities and she will make sure to leave lasting impressions.

“I will have time with people that will be having fun on holiday. It will be a good time for us to meet with families and give them good music,” she said.

“There are many songs to bless families. We are going with our band and we promise good performances. We have graced many family events and we are sure the selection we have prepared will be popular.”

The award-winning songstress’ popular hits include “Tomutenda Nei”, “Nyasha Nengoni”, “Muri Mwari” and “Muchengeti” that features Shingisai Suluma.

Montclair Hotel and Casino spokesperson Busi Tutani said they have made this year’s event bigger and better.

“We have added many new activities and facilities to the fair. We know people will enjoy and it will be a memorable fair. People have started booking and we encourage others to book early to avoid disappointment,” said Tutani.

“We have received so many enquiries, which means the uptake will be overwhelming. It is always great to have many families at the hotel. We take pride in being a choice of good hospitality. “Montclair has advantage of its closeness to Mutarazi Falls, which have become the most popular tourist attraction in the resort area.  There are many other attractions dotted around the hotel that people can visit.”

She said at the hotel people can enjoy horse rides, casino, tug-of-war, swimming and rope-climbing among other games. Children will also enjoy Easter egg hunt and jumping castle.
