Award-winning gospel musician Mathias Mhere and Minister Michael Mahendere are set share the stage in Kwekwe this weekend. The two are headline acts at the Apostolic Conference that will run from Friday to Sunday at Awake Hall Mbizo 11 which is being hosted by New Creation Life Ministries International. Mhere who is currently riding high with his latest album “Old Testament” said he was delighted to be in the city he last visited early this year.

“I am very excited to be visiting Kwekwe after a very long time. What is more special is sharing the stage with my brother Mahendere. It will be a memorable show to all those that will attend,” he said.

Mahendere’s latest album “Getting Personal with God 3” received overwhelming responses and songs proving to be popular include “Overcomer”, “Makomborero”, “Masimba” and “Chiiko”. He is set to have a live DVD album recording for the latest album on November 18 at the 7Arts Theatre. Multiple award-winning South African gospel artiste, Loyiso Bala who features on the track ‘Chiiko” will be in the country for the recording.

Mhere first recorded an album titled “Tinoda Nyasha” in 2008 but failed to make an impact on the local market. He found his glory in 2012 with album “Anoita Minana” followed by “Nguva Yenyasha” that was released in 2013.
