Meet nine-year-old Little  Miss Universe Zimbabwe…young radio presenter detined for greater heights Tamar Muchineuta

At just nine years, Tamar Muchineuta has already become a national radio presenter.

Apart from being that, she is a philanthropist, reigning Miss Little Universe Zimbabwe.

She has already donated over 100 sanitary pads to different vulnerable families including those living in squatter camps along Mukuvisi.

Her journey proves that she is destined for greater heights after being nominated at the just ended African Kids Awards held in South Africa.

Tamar, who also won Miss Universe Super Talent at the pageantry which was held in Dubai in October, was nominated in three categories.

The awards were held on November 19 courtesy of Stacey FRU Foundation.

The annual African Children of the Year Awards held it’s the fifth edition and the pageant accepts entries from ages ranging from seven to 14 years.

Her mother and manager, Shalom Ramunyenyiwa, said she is proud of her daughter’s achievements

 “Tamar’s wish is to see every young person striving in their areas of interest and parents support in young children endeavours as ‘We are the leaders of tomorrow’ is her favorite quote.

“She’s a force to reckon with.

“Recently she was nominated for entrepreneurship, second runner-up for motivational/personal development and for philanthropy.

 “Service before self is a motto that she lives with and Tamar is a beautiful and energetic young girl, a fragrance owner whose heart is in helping other children become and realize their potential and power.

“Tamar has a giving back to the community and has reached over 20 communities through her book and pads drive vying under ‘End period poverty,”’ she said.

Tamar has worked with different organisations.

“This has seen Tamar inspiring other young children from her church where she is the young generation leader and the kids in her community as well.

“Tamar has also made her mark as a kids radio show host at Capitalk which has amplified her voice and made it possible for her to reach over 1 million people,” she added.

Through her philanthropic work, Tamar, will be to assist vulnerable members.

“We have a Christmas party which we are going to hold early December. 

“We will be visiting families that live in the squatter camps, having fun with them.”

This yea, at the Little Miss Universe pageant she was crowned queen which saw her representing Zimbabwe in Dubai at the world finals.

She participated against 42 other contestants.

“She managed to prove that, she is intelligent. Imagine out of the 42 countries.”

At only nine years, Tamar is destined for greatness.

“I am an avid chess player, poet, model and fashionista, the youngest radio presenter on Capitalk FM hosting a kids show called ‘Capital Cradle’.

“I have my own brand of perfumes called Tamar fragrance and my dream if to expand it to help charity.

“I am not just a beauty queen ,but a philanthropist as well with a golden heart. I feel there are people out there who need a giving hand,” 

She has an ambition of becoming a pilot.

“I want to be a pilot and I chose this career because I love traveling and hosting people. During my spare time I enjoy engaging in  charity work, reading books and motivating others.

“I am the current Little Miss Universe Zimbabwe. The title prompted me to be part of the pageant which was held in Dubai recently,” added Tamar.
