Baba Mechanic Manyeruke’s influence in showbiz is hard to ignore despite reports of him mulling retirement.

The iconic master of praise and worship’s huge influence will come under the spotlight on December 7 at the ‘Gospel Legends Night’ concert scheduled for the Harare International Conference Centre.

Presented by Eleana Makombe Music, other legends taking part in the show include Pastor Lawrence Haisa, Prince Mafukidze, Pastor G, Michael Mahendere, Sipho Makhabane, Shuvai Wutawunashe, Pastor Charles Charamba and wife Olivia, Mathias Mhere, Fungisai Zvakavapano and Carol Mujokoro.

United-based diva Makombe, who runs Eleana Makombe Music, has since been commended for assembling a team of yesteryear legends, led by Manyeruke.

At 81 and still going strong, Manyeruke has to prove to his hordes of fans that he still has a lot to offer.

The singer has been in the game for close to six decades. Manyeruke can still perform exceptionally and is an inspiration to other musicians.

Praise and worship stars Mahendere and Mhere will provide variety.

The Charambas, who are now banking on massive experience, are expected to add more fire during the night.

Makhabane, who is no stranger on Harare stages, is tipped to give fans a foreign flair.
