Mahendere salutes corporate support Michael Mahendere

GOSPEL musician Michael Mahendere has commended the corporate support he has received building up to his Saturday Live DVD recording and concert to be held at the City Sports Center in Harare.

The soulful singer who is widely known as Minister Mahendere in gospel music circles has received massive backing from corporates that are increasingly showing confidence in his brand.

“We are more than grateful for the amazing support from our various corporate partners.

Creative-corporate sector synergies are ideal for the growth of the industry and we just want to applaud the support from various brands,” Mahendere said.

The “Makanaka Jesu” hit maker told The Herald Arts that he had received support from hospitality industry players, travel and transport companies, furniture companies, fashion giants and logistics companies to name a few.

“The Saturday event has been made possible through support from brands that have weighed in numerous ways.

The whole financing is thanks to these corporate players as well as other well wishers that are investing in our work.”

Mahendere has made a big mark in the industry thanks to his professionalism and unique approach to his craft.

“All our travel, accommodation and refreshments, wardrobe, decor as well logistics needs have been taken care of by our various partners.

Some of them have invested long term through real state arrangements. We just want to salute all these brands for the goodwill,” he said.

Various credible influencers have tapped into the corporate-cretaive synergies potential and Mahendere who has invested in a clean brand over time appears to be reaping the rewards.

“It has been quite season for me and I am grateful that the efforts are paying dividends.

“For tomorrow’s event we have received support from brands like Old Mutual, NetOne, Peace Security, Holiday Inn, Best Car Rental, Kamili Investments, Realtor Ville Estate, 4 May, Style Cabin Interiors, Thace Apparel and Gladiola Couture to name a few,” he said.

The event starts at 12pm till 9pm in the evening and groups and artistes such as Everton Mlalazi, Benjamin Rupapa, Joyful Praise Choir, Tinashe Magacha, Chisipite Worship Team are also performing.
