The Coca Cola Company (TCCC) has agreed to extend by another 3 years, a bottler’s agreement it has with Delta Beverages.

The agreement has been on the negotiating table since 2016 after SABMiller, which had a stake in Delta was acquired by AB Inbev, TCCC’s global rival which bottles and distributes PepsiCo products.

At the time of the AB InBev, Delta tie up, the local beverage maker said:

“The Company has since been notified by The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC) of its intention to terminate the Bottlers’ Agreements with Delta Beverages and its associate Schweppes Holdings Africa Limited (Notified Intention). — Business Reporter.
