1556: Poet Albert Nyathi is reciting a poem.
1549: The President thanks the gathering for attending and says he only slept for two hours after returning late from Namibia. He thanks people that have donated towards the holding of the anniversary.
1541: President Mugabe says they will continue helping Catholic schools through business people. He bemoans the decline in morals values leading to robberies and other social vices.
1531: He explains the diplomatic tiff with the British saying it was about the land and nothing else.

1203: The mission has a hospital which was established in 1931 by Fr Jerome O’Hea. Kutama has produced students in the mould of President Mugabe, Dr Chombo, Dr Mbizvo Washington, Min Walter Chidhakwa.
1154: Kutama Mission has an enrollment of 1 020 students (boys only).
1152: 1926 Kutama Mission introduced a 2 year teacher training course for primary teachers.
1150: Kutama Mission was founded in 1914 by Fr John Loubiere as a Christian Centre. He realised besides spiritual growth, people needed education.
