Rising hip-hop singer King98’s album launch slated for Wingate Golf Club on May 1 promises to be a big event.

The launch of the album titled “Fransesca” will be graced by youthful stars on the continent Davido and Nasty C. Many talented local acts are also set to be part of the event.

While everything said about the concert points to a promising event, organisers say they have something bigger to make it spectacular.

“We have a big surprise for the day. People know that Davido and Nasty C are coming and that is good news to many music followers. We will add more to the fun that they are expecting.

We have bigger surprises on the day and people should brace for a historic event,” noted show organisers.

King98, born Ngonidzashe Dondo, has a promising future, having been privileged to work with hot stars on the continent in the first days of his career.

He worked with Davido on a song titled “No Bad Vibes” that has a video done in Nigeria. His upcoming album is set to be an introduction for him on the local scene.

Local musicians that will be part of the launch include Tammy Moyo, Ex-Q, Nadia Nakai and Shashl.

King98 said introducing his album with a big event is a statement about his intention.

“The album will be launched at a big event because we are planning big things in the industry. I hope it will be a good start. I am learning from music stars and I will try to follow in their footsteps. This album is special to me because it is like a first baby. This special event was organised for a special project. There are bigger things to happen on the day and people should come prepared for surprises,” said King98.
