Karoi Engineer succumbs to Covid-19

KAROI Town Council engineer, Oswell Mazvimbakupa has died of Covid-19.

Eng Mazvimbaku’s died today in the farming town of Karoi which was last week put on localised Covid-19 lockdown to thwart spiraling virus cases.

Council chairperson, Cllr Abel Matsika confirmed the death.

Karoi which houses 21 tobacco auction floors, is one of Covid-19 hotspots in Hurungwe district and Mashonaland province.

Recently, firebrand Karoi Residents Association chairman and jazz musician, Never Gasho succumbed to the virus.

Meanwhile, health and security departments have implored people to adhere to stipulated Covid-19 regulations.
