Blessings Chidakwa in Kadoma
KADOMA City has offered the Zimbabwe School of Mines (ZSM) and Chinhoyi University of Technology (CUT) land to establish satellite campuses.

At least 30 hectares of land was handed over to CUT for the construction of the first-ever university campus in the town.

Kadoma Mayor Councillor Action Nyamukondiwa told CUT senior officials during a training workshop that the coming in of CUT would fill the tertiary education vacuum in the city. “Kadoma is open for business and welcomes CUT,” he said.

“CUT is indeed a cut above the rest as it will be the first tertiary institution in the City of Gold.

Meanwhile, the offer to ZSM was made by Councillor Nyamukondiwa during an open day organised by the mining school in partnership with the local authority at Rimuka Hall.

This year’s edition received an overwhelming response from learners in and around Kadoma, Sanyati and Mhondoro-Ngezi districts.
