Again it’s just a week away after the 2017 Kids’ Choice Awards hosted by WWE star John Cena brought the plenty of slime and fun to the stage, when pop culture’s youngest fans got a chance to weigh in on their favourite celebrities, shows and artistes.

In an interview with E! News, Cena explained that he is no stranger to the show’s trademark green slime.

“I’ve had a lot of experience with slime,” Cena told E! News’ Sibley Scoles.

“Not only am I a seasoned veteran to the Kids’ Choice Awards here, I’ve been to the UK Kids’ Choice Awards, I’ve been to the Australian Kids’ Choice Awards, so I kinda know the lay of the land. You show up to this thing, you go home green. That’s just the way it is. That’s just the way it works,” he said.

Some of the celebrities up for Favourite Movie Actor and Actress included Ben Affleck (Batman), Robert Downey Jr. (Captain America: Civil War), Chris Hemsworth (Ghostbusters), Amy Adams (Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice), Scarlett Johansson (Captain America: Civil War) and Melissa McCarthy (Ghostbusters).

The biggest winners include, “Henry Danger”, “America’s Got Talent”, “SpongeBob SquarePants”, “Zendaya (K.C., K.C. Undercover)”, “Ghostbusters” and “Finding Dory” among others.

Congrats to the winners and we now await to crown our 2017 local teen celebs come next month.

Anyway on celebville, boy of the moment, Brooklyn Beckham looked effortlessly stylish as he treated Rocco Ritchie’s model girlfriend Kim last Tuesday.

He was often spotted out with a large group of friends.

But Brooklyn Beckham, 18, was no doubt keen to impress good friend Rocco Ritchie by spending some quality time with the star’s girlfriend, Kim Turnbull, 16.

Despite ditching his sling for several recent outings, Brooklyn was back in the strap following a nasty collarbone break during his recent family holiday.

Not letting it hamper his style, the aspiring photographer teamed the sling with a black bomber jacket and white slogan T-shirt.

Layering up, he donned a white beanie hat and grey distressed jeans, finishing off the look with military style boots.

Kim looked equally as chic on the outing, teaming cropped burnt orange jeans with a black fur coat and trainers.

For those who don’t know, Kim is the granddaughter of celebrated artiste William Turnbull, who is considered one of the leading artistes of the post-war generation owing to his subtle style which set him apart from his contemporaries.

However, the starlet is believed to have started dating Rocco — the eldest son of Madonna and Guy Ritchie — late last year. Kim, who made her debut as a young model in the Maharishi Show at the London Collections: Men AW15 last January, has run in the same circles as Rocco ever since he moved back to London in December 2015.

Enough of the love birds, we jump to the couch potato.

We still counting for the “Fast and Furious 8” release and we hope our plea has been heard by the Ster Kinekor theatres.

Our movie of the week is “Logan”, which stars Hugh Jackman, Dafne Keen, Patrick Stewart, Boyd Holbrook, Stephen Merchant and Richard E. Grant.

The movie is 135 minutes.

So in 2029, Logan aka Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) is now an old soak whose mutant abilities are in decline and who makes a living as a chauffeur, boozing to ease the pain and keeping a low profile in a desert hideout alongside his even older friend Charles Xavier (Patrick Stewart).

But trouble finds him in the form of a mutant-hunting mercenary squad searching for a young girl named Laura (Dafne Keen) with a very familiar power-set.

The film is never emotionally stronger than when this trio shares a scene.
