In 2019 don’t be a lamb, be a lion!
Bishop B. Manjoro Dunamis
2018 was a good year, a year of acceleration and things were happening so fast. But 2018 is gone. Don’t dwell in yesterday; the worries, the tears the pain. That season is over. We have entered into 2019 the year of visitation! O hallelujah hallelujah! Congratulations and welcome to 2019 a year where you will take over! Enjoy this first article of the year!
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.” (1 Peter 5:8)
As we have entered this new year of visitation, understand this, visitation is not just enjoying seeing angels, No, there is serious warfare and fight. As you have crossed over the first thing you need to know is, who is your enemy? It’s a simple question but it can change the whole of your life and your year. Let me ask you right now, who is your enemy? Do you know him or her?
When I mention the word enemy there are names, faces, history and images that crossed through your mind. That’s exactly my point; you don’t know your enemy! There is one enemy of mankind and his name is Satan, the devil! Only one enemy in this whole world. Ah but bishop what about my uncle who is a witch and killed all our relatives in the rural areas? Your uncle is not the enemy, he was used by the real hidden enemy whom I’m exposing to you today.
Friends in 2019 it’s time to let go people whom we think are our enemies and start facing the real enemy. Our enemy is one the devil. He may use your aunt, your boss, your friend, your relative but all these are not your enemies! It’s like a farmer digging with a hoe. Yes, the hoe is getting in the ground but who is holding it and influencing it to do what it is doing?
Today we tell the real enemy he has no right over our finances, our families, our marriages! O hallelujah. If you failed and did not make it last year try again and again and again. Don’t give up.
Our God is a Man of War. Yes, he is the lamb of God but he is a Lion. He is the King of the Jungle. You see the lion is not the biggest animal in the jungle, yet it’s the King. The way a lion sees is different. When it looks at an elephant it sees a delicious meal. O I like it, I like it! Be like a lion, don’t see failures in 2019, see success, success, success!
In 2019 don’t be a lamb, be a lion. Any problem you see is in 2019 is lunch; it’s dinner!
2019 is my year! The devil wants you to cry and suffer this year, but no, no, no, don’t cry. Some things will even try to hinder your marriage, your job, your children and your plans in this year! It’s a year where the Lord will visit His people. When He visits things will never remain the same, o glory glory!
This year start it in forgiveness. People will always be people. If they come and say sorry forgive them. If they don’t come or even care, just forgive them anyway! When you see the person at church greet the person, hug and be joyful O, it’s a good year, it’s a good year!
People are not your enemy, No, no, no. They are just used by the enemy. It’s just five days into 2019 know your enemy and tell him, “Ndakuona, ndakuziva, ndakubata, hapana zvauchandiita!” (I have seen you, I know you, I apprehend you. There is nothing you will do to me devil)
Bishop or Pastor is not your enemy. If you see me greet two or three people and I go out without greeting you also the Devil will say, “Ah pane nyaya why did Bishop not greet you also?” Listen, the Devil will be looking for you not me or your Pastor. To overcome him right there rush and say oh, Bishop, oh Pastor you are going without greeting me also?
I will quickly say, oh sorry sorry I didn’t realise it there are many people here, sorry! And warmly greet you!
When that happens, you have won the battle unlike to keep the Devil telling you ah Bishop or Pastor, or aunt or boss is your enemy, he or she doesn’t like you! Come on this is 2019. It’s not a year to build or maintain grudges. No, no, no. Know your enemy and forgive. Your husband, your wife, your ex, your supervisor is not your enemy! The devil is your enemy and like a lion looking for whom he can devour!
For with God all things are possible (Mark 10:27).
